Magellan has been producing composites for many years and our expertise continues to grow with advances in new technology, materials and processes.
This area of capability is a key focus of investment and training to support new programs for both high rate production and the advancement of materials and processes. Dedicated composites facilities in operation are designed around a LEAN approach with no requirement for external processing.
Our primary materials and processes focus on carbon / epoxy and carbon / BMI prepeg fabrics. The style and complexity of product has adopted very close tolerance features along with extensive requirements for quality validation through inspection and NDI.
